Who We Are
Emerald City Behavioral Health is a Washington State–designated provider delivering the full continuum of behavioral health care. We specialize in serving individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Our continuum includes outpatient therapy, Intensive Residential Treatment, long-term residential programs, youth evaluation and treatment centers, and crisis stabilization facilities—helping communities thrive across Pierce, King, and Spokane Counties.
IRT (Intensive Residential Treatment)
Our specialty program for adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders, providing wrap-around, high-acuity outpatient care delivered directly in residential care settings. IRT supports long-term stability, reduces hospitalizations, and helps individuals remain successfully in their communities.
Outpatient Counseling (MH & SUD)
Outpatient Counseling (MH & SUD) provides specialized treatment for individuals with severe mental illness, offering therapy, medication management, peer support, and recovery-focused services in community clinic settings. Our programs are designed for those with complex needs, ensuring continuity of care and long-term stabilization.
